The steps are straightforward and uncomplicated:

* Fill up the balloon with water (you read right – water).

* Secure the top part of the balloon.

* Place the wax in a double-boiler, electric skillet or sauce pan to melt it (use an old skillet or sauce pan).

* Keep temp somewhere near 165 to 185 until wax is fully melted.

* Let cool until almost firm.

* Dunk water balloon into wax, pulling out quickly, letting layer of wax cool and set.

* Repeat dipping and cooling process until you have about 1 cm of wax around the balloon.

* Burst the balloon so you can remove it from the center of the candle.

* Pour warm wax slowly inside the balloon shell and roll the shell around constantly until the interior is full.

* On the last pour, position wick in center first, allowing the final warm wax to surround it.

* Wait for the wax to cool to support wick before you release it.
